A requirement for ALL coaches to complete prior to getting on the field with children. 

Any Head Coach, Assistant Coach or any volunteer for that matter that is put in charge of, or may supervise youth members of Triangle Athletic Association, are required to complete a Criminal Record Check.  For obvious reasons we want to ensure this is a safe environment for all children to learn and grow.  

Because this CRC is being done on behalf of our volunteer organization, your record check is free. When you click the "APPLY NOW!" button below it will take you to the Provincial Records Check Website where you can fill out your CRC application.

In order to apply online you must...

• Be at least 12 years of age as of today's date.
  
• Have an access code provided by our organization (V2A45CZ9EQ)
• Have your identity verified by using your BC Services Card. The BC Services Card provides secure access to government online services. If you do not have a BC Services card already you will need to first download the app and apply for the card. This can take up to 2 business days to be approved. Once approved you can complete the Criminal Record Check process. 

It takes approximately 2-4 weeks for us to receive electronic notification of the results.  If you are approved, we will both be notified via confidential email which we will keep securely on file. If you do not receive approval we will both be notified via letter and you will not be able to participate as originally planned. In some cases you will be required to complete a second verification before approval is given but will receive written instructions from the CRC office on how to go about that. Criminal Record Checks are good for 5 years.
